We left the hotel at 10am and headed to South Station to meet Yogi (Big) and another friend who happens to be called Yogi (Little) as well. South Station is pretty much like KL Central in Malaysia. The day wasn't a very good day for me because I was hurting all over from the fall yesterday. Worst still, it was the first day of my period and the cramps were killing me. I was literally dragging my feet all over Boston.
Our first stop was Harvard University. Fenella was extremely excited to be there because it was one of her greatest dreams - her favorite Taiwanese author graduated from Harvard. While everyone was happily taking photos, I looked around for places to sit. I felt so sick. You can see from the photos how pale I was. =( We wandered around the University and its town for quite a while. I took a little nap in the Harvard bookstore while the rest went for lunch. After the little nap, I felt so much better. We left Harvard at 300pm. I was sad to leave Yogi (Big) as we headed towards different directions. I really don't know when I will see him again.
After Harvard, we went to Copley station to meet Fenella's friend, QiQi. She lives in Boston with her family. The girls wanted to visit the Museum of Fine Arts and QiQi took us there by foot. It was a very long walk. We arrived at the museum around 430pm or so. We were lucky that we got free admission because it was Wednesday. On other days, the admission costs $15. In the museum, we went on separate ways. Mi Ki was the most enthusiastic one. Che Ven and I were not that artistic, so we basically just wandered around and glanced at the exhibits. Fenella left us earlier with QiQi.
I was supposed to meet with Wendy for dinner after the museum. However due to time uncertainties, we were not able to. At 600pm, we headed down to Chinatown to meet Fenella. We had our dinner at this Malaysian Cuisine Restaurant called Penang. FYI: Penang is the name of a state in Malaysia. And no doubt, the food was great. It reminds me of my mummy's cooking =) We left Chinatown at 800pm, in order not to miss the last bus 137 back to our hotel again. This time, we arrived at the station an hour early. So we hung out at a nearby Dunkin Donuts. We didn't stay there for long. We were kinda pissed off by the lady cashier. She was unfriendly. So I pissed her off before we left. Haha. We went back to the station. While waiting, the girls were reading, journaling and talking. As for me, I took a little nap even though the fire alarm was going off all night long for whatever reason.
It was definitely a relief to be back in our hotel after a long day. Back in the hotel, all of us indulged in the chocolate fudge cheesecake that QiQi bought for us from the Cheesecake Factory =)
