May 15, 2006

Fenella and I went to the Beltrami County Airport at around 230pm to pick up the Kia Sedona 7-seater minivan that we rented. Our initial plan to leave Bemidji at 300pm was a little delayed because Che Ven and I had to go pick up Rosin from his work because his car wouldn't start. It was almost 400pm, when we all got our own things settled down. We then went over to PeiShan's house and got the the rest of the girls, Pei Shan, Mi Ki, Mandy and Yunn Hanm. We headed south at about 430pm.

I was the driver and Che Ven was the navigator. We were supposed to hit highway 64 heading towards Akeley and Motley. However for some reason, we missed a turn and ended up highway 71 once again. It was a longer route. But well....we made it to St Cloud anyway. I guess it was almost 800pm when we arrived. I had to stopped at St Cloud because I wanted to drop some of Suan See's stuff to her friend, Natalie. However, Natalie didn't managed to met us. Instead, we met Janice for dinner at Sawatdee, a Thai restaurant downtown. Janice was an old friend of mine from HELP University College, Malaysia, We came to Bemidji State University at the same time in 2004. The last time I saw her was during our graduation ceremony, May of last year. It was definitely nice to see her again after so long. We had a wonderful time together but eventually we had to say goodbye after dinner. Suan See's stuff went with Janice to Natalie. We then took highway 10 and headed down to Minneapolis.

We arrived in Minneapolis at around 10ish I supposed. We drove around the city trying to find our way to the Minneapolis/St Paul International Airport. The roads were a little too complicated, considering that I am already used to the simple roads in Bemidji. Haha =P Right after we arrived at the airport, we returned the minivan.

Our flight to Boston wasn't until 6am the next morning. So we loitered around the airport.
